We use 99% existing packaging material. Recycling is good practice, but reusing is better practice.

It is a challenge for us to generate enough reusable packaging materials on our own. If you would like a better use of your bubble wrap, paper bags, plastic bags, or gift boxes (gift boxes and shoe boxes are great), then I encourage you to drop it off at Fernseed.

We would be happy to share reclaimed packaging materials with the community. Drop off or pick up. Let's make this a community practice.

...For donating the small gift boxes so people can carry home their succulents and air plant arrangements without pebbles and dirt flying all over their windshields (based on personal experience, unfortunately). And for helping us avoid using new materials for packaging.
