yellow potted succulents and flowering plants

Been painting all sorts of things yellow for my plants... Cachepot, vase, plastic tumblers, metal container, vintage bottle (not painted), and more. It's amazing how the combination of yellows and greens and slight reds can put one in such a good mood. I think I should call this the Green Happy Yellow Collection. Hmmm. Confusing.

Still working on adding another 10 to 15 to this collection.

Prices range from $5 to $30. I'm usually very accommodating, so please do let me know if you have a price in mind, as well.

hurricane terrarium

One glass and steel display hurricane was repurposed into a terrarium for drought-tolerant succulents. The glass has a crack at the soil level, which was used as part of design. Why throw away if you can make it beautiful and functional? 100% reclaimed, except for two varieties of succulents and growing matter. Soil is organic. Sand and draining pebbles are new.

$24

vintage 12" apothecary terrarium

This reclaimed vintage glass bottle was repurposed into a terraria containing fern, succulents, reclaimed drainage rocks, organic soil, reclaimed planter moss, gravel, river pebbles, river stones, a found branch, and several collector's rocks. mixed bonatical terrarium

This large terrerium stands 11" high. It was a vase that looked like plain jane when used with flowers, but as a terraria house, it is one of the best I've worked with. The shape naturally allows the plants to grow and expand. Includes a mix of outdoor plants, including a variety of succulents. Planted with drain rocks, new sand, organic soil, river stones and a collector's rock. $45

Tequila bottle toppers

We believe reusing is the first and best sustainable practice before other practices. These small ink-well'esque mini vases were created from tequila bottle toppers (1800 Tequila)... We sell them with ferns and succulents, both eco-friendly plants because they require very little water and maintenance... 4-

*Did you know fern is a prehistoric plant and the first to have a vascular system? Cool little fact or what?

succulent gardens in refabbed containers

Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
Succulents last longer than roses,
And environmentally better too.

Locally grown succulent cuttings in refabbed votive holders, shot glasses, vases, cachepot and fancy bowls. Please consider buying locally grown, drought-tolerant arrangements instead of roses. (See note). Prices range from 6- to 45-, depending on size and labor-of-love time.

Note: Most roses (and tulips) are purchased from overseas, air-freighted in, shipped in refrigerated containers, store in refrigerated warehouses, then shipped in refrigerated trucks to your local florists or grocery store. Please consider the environment and imports dependency when you create demand for products like these.

Fernseed supports succulents because they can be grown anywhere, are drought-tolerant and love neglect.
